Conflicts Attorney
The firm is seeking a Conflicts Attorney to support the Risk Management Department by handling conflict analysis and intake matters related to new business, lateral hires, external publications, and requests for proposal. This role is responsible for reviewing and analyzing conflict check requests firmwide to identify potential ethical and business conflicts of interest, ensure compliance with firm policies, and support the firm’s overall risk management processes. Responsibilities include reviewing intake materials, conducting conflicts analysis using internal and external databases, communicating with attorneys regarding potential conflicts, drafting and reviewing conflict waivers, maintaining accurate database records, and assisting with ethical wall construction and screening for new hires. The position also involves reviewing outside counsel guidelines, resolving compliance issues, responding to attorney inquiries regarding conflicts procedures, and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of conflicts data and records.
Qualified candidates must hold a J.D. and be licensed and in good standing in one of the following states: California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, or Illinois. Candidates should have 8–10 years of conflicts analysis experience in a large law firm environment, along with strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Intapp Open is required, while experience with 3E, iManage, and Intapp Walls is preferred.
The desired schedule for this position is 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM Pacific Time. The expected salary range is $160,000–$220,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and performance, and includes eligibility for bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.
