Paralegal – Business Litigation (Fort Worth)

A Fort Worth law firm is seeking an experienced Business Litigation Paralegal to join its litigation team. This role plays a critical part in supporting attorneys throughout complex commercial litigation matters, from case intake through trial. The paralegal will assist with all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation, while drafting and proofreading legal documents such as pleadings, subpoenas, and discovery requests and responses. Additional responsibilities include managing case files, coordinating document production through e-discovery platforms, conducting factual and legal research under attorney supervision, and preparing deposition summaries, chronologies, and trial binders. The paralegal will also handle e-filing with state and federal courts, track litigation deadlines, and communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel, supporting attorneys during hearings, depositions, and trials as needed.

Candidates should bring 3-5 years of paralegal experience in business litigation at a law firm, along with a bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or CLA designation. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with litigation support software are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment and availability for additional hours during time-sensitive phases of litigation.
