Paralegal – Business Litigation (Dallas)

A leading law firm is seeking a Business Litigation Paralegal for its Dallas office. This role supports attorneys across all phases of complex commercial litigation, from case intake through trial preparation, with a strong emphasis on discovery and case management. Responsibilities include drafting and proofreading pleadings, subpoenas, and discovery requests/responses; managing electronic and physical case files; coordinating document production through e-discovery platforms; and conducting factual and legal research under attorney supervision. The paralegal will also prepare deposition summaries, chronologies, and trial binders, handle state and federal court e-filing, track litigation deadlines and calendars, and communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel, including support during hearings, depositions, and trials.

Candidates should have 3-5 years of business litigation paralegal experience in a law firm setting, along with a bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate/associate’s degree, or CLA designation (one strongly preferred). Strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and litigation support software, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines independently are essential, along with availability for additional hours during time-sensitive litigation phases.
