Intellectual Property Litigation Paralegal

CM Legal

A leading Midwest-based law firm is seeking an Intellectual Property Litigation Paralegal. The position offers a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days per week in office.

The paralegal will support all phases of complex IP litigation, primarily in federal court. Core responsibilities include drafting pleadings and litigation documents, assisting with case development and project management, preparing case summaries and chronologies, and assisting attorneys with deposition preparation. The role also involves coordinating and managing document reviews and productions — running keyword and Boolean searches in Relativity, working with e-discovery vendors, quality-checking productions, and preparing and QCing privilege logs. The paralegal will also assist with investigations, mediations, arbitration, and trial preparation.

Candidates must have a paralegal certificate and at least two years of experience. Solid Relativity skills and strong e-discovery experience — including familiarity with the full lifecycle, document review workflows, and legal privileges — are required. Proficiency in Excel is preferred; experience with Opus2, Trial Director, Nuix, and AI-assisted document review tools in Relativity is a plus. Candidates must have excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
