Legal Secretary (Trust and Estate Planning)

A leading law firm is seeking a Legal Secretary for its Naples office. This role provides administrative support to two attorneys, handling time entry, correspondence, and client document preparation and delivery. The secretary will draft estate planning documents including Powers of Attorney, Advance Directives, HIPAA Authorizations, and Pre-Need Guardian Designations, manage client filing, coordinate attorney calendars and meetings, and prepare post-execution binders. Witnessing or notarizing client documents, reception coverage, and availability for overtime are also part of the role.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED (a business administration degree is a plus), along with knowledge of Florida probate courts, judicial procedures, and e-filing/e-recording platforms. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice tools (iManage, Aderant, Westlaw, Lexis/Nexis, and similar systems) is preferred but the firm is willing to train. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication are essential.

The salary range is $50,000–$70,000 depending on experience, with a competitive benefits package, 25 days of PTO annually, and a 40-hour work week.
