Our client is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal for its commercial real estate practice. This role supports attorneys who represent clients in real estate transactions, with an emphasis on the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate, including the purchase, sale, development and leasing of office, industrial, retail and technology-driven properties.
The paralegal will assist with real estate transactions from inception to closing, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, and loans. Responsibilities include managing due diligence reviews, conducting title and survey review, coordinating escrow activities, and reviewing surveys, UCC searches, leases, and service and management contracts. The role also involves searching county land records and tax assessment databases, preparing closing checklists and executable closing documents, drafting correspondence and lease amendments and summaries, and coordinating with service companies to obtain client organizational documents. There may also be opportunities to work on pro bono matters.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, 13 years of commercial real estate paralegal experience, and strong communication and organizational skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel preferred). The expected hourly pay range is $35.00$50.00 ($72,800.00$104,000.00 annually), depending on location and experience.
