Day-to-day responsibilities include independently leading a portfolio of high-value matters across timelines, budgets, and resources; serving as a senior point of contact for key clients on matter and portfolio delivery; developing detailed matter plans for the firms most complex engagements; managing resources and advising partners on staffing; identifying and mitigating matter- and portfolio-level risks; tracking and reporting on budgets with forecasting and profitability analysis; preparing dashboards and executive summaries; leading process improvement initiatives; collaborating across Finance, Legal Operations, Business Development, and Technology; and mentoring Legal Project Managers and Analysts to advance the firms LPM methodology.Qualified candidates will have a minimum of eight years in matter and/or portfolio management within a law firm, experience mentoring junior project management professionals, advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, and strong stakeholder-management ability. PMP certification is preferred; familiarity with Agile/Waterfall methodologies and tools like MS Project or Asana is a plus.The compensation range is $200,000$230,000, plus discretionary bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
